Marriage, birth, death, departure; for Dispatch’s Chadwick Stokes and Brad Corrigan, the only constant these past few years has been change. Add to that the divisive political climate, long-overdue reckonings on racial justice and gender equality, and a global pandemic, and you’ve got an idea of the tensions fueling the band’s extraordinary upcoming album. Marking the band’s eighth studio release, the songs on this record speak not only to the band’s personal evolution, but to human nature itself, charting a course from denial and resistance to growth and acceptance through deep introspection and empathetic character studies. The music is pure Dispatch, and the five piece continues to grow and push their boundaries, taking surprise turns without ever abandoning the signature sound that’s made them one of independent rock’s most indelible acts over the last two-and-a-half decades. The songs on Break Our Fall blend infectious roots rock with hints of reggae, folk, and blues, and the production is similarly lean and energetic, leaving plenty of space for some of the group’s most pointed, political lyrics to date. The result is an ode to resilience and survival, a timely and essential album that still manages to find hope and joy on even the darkest of days.
Guster
Since forming as college students at Tufts University, Guster has spent the past thirty years creating enduring, quirky pop-rock songs like “Overexcited,” “Amsterdam,” “Satellite,” and “Do You Love Me.” In addition to their work in Guster, singer Ryan Miller scores films and Adam Gardner runs Reverb, a non-profit dedicated to environmentally-friendly touring.
Trevor Hall
Raised on an island in South Carolina, singer/songwriter Trevor Hall realized at a young age that music was more than just a passion – it was his life’s art. At sixteen, he recorded his first album. Shortly after, Hall left South Carolina for Idyllwild Arts Academy in California where he studied classical guitar and was introduced to the practices of yoga and meditation, which would greatly influence his life and his music.
Hall’s music, a blend of roots and folk music with touches of electronic elements, is imbued with a deep love of Eastern Mysticism. This powerful symbiosis fostered a deep connectivity with his growing fan base and Trevor quickly matured into a leader of the burgeoning conscious musical community. Along with numerous pilgrimages to India, he has sold out the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado as a headliner and he also completed a series of sold-out international tours with artists such as Ziggy Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Michael Franti, John Butler Trio, Matisyahu and Brett Dennen.
G. Love & Donavon Frankenreiter
G. Love – Born Garrett Dutton in Philadelphia, PA, G. Love first broke out in the early ’90s with his band, Special Sauce, on their strength of their Gold-selling self-titled debut. Over the next three decades, he would go on to release seven more critically acclaimed albums with Special Sauce (plus five on his own), become a fixture on festival lineups from Bonnaroo to Lollapalooza, and collaborate on the road and in the studio with artists as diverse as Lucinda Williams, Dave Matthews, The Avett Brothers, Jack Johnson, Keb’ Mo’, and DJ Logic.
Donavon Frankenreiter – For nearly four decades Donavon Frankenreiter has been travelling the globe, first as a professional surfer and now as a musician. Born in Southern California, Donavon spent most of his youth chasing waves, turning pro at the age of 16.
These days instead of surf competitions, it’s concert halls that brings Frankenreiter to town, where he entertains audiences with his unique blend of laid-back grooves, philosophical lyrics and soulful delivery.
Ripe
Ripe’s new album Bright Blues is a collection of 12 songs full of sleek grooves and bold melodies that the Boston quartet put together to help ride out tough times, an anthem for better days ahead.
“The wildest thing for me is that the record simultaneously sounds like it has the scars of everything we’ve been through and also that it doesn’t — it’s joyful music, which is very exciting given that it was made in the middle of getting hit in the stomach,” says singer Robbie Wulfsohn, who came together with guitarist Jon Becker, drummer Sampson Hellerman and trombonist Calvin Barthel while they were all studying at Berklee College of Music.
The band drew acclaim from the likes of the Boston Globe, Huffington Post and WXPN with their first full-length, Joy in the Wild Unknown. Their streams on Spotify surged past 56 million as they conquered stages at festivals including Bonnaroo, Firefly, SweetWater and Bottlerock, and sold tens of thousands of tickets across the US, including selling out the iconic House of Blues Boston and Brooklyn Steel.
Bright Blues is their first release after signing to indie powerhouse Glassnote Records and their first release working with outside co-writers. Teaming up on production with Noah Conrad (BTS, Niall Horan) and Ryan Linvill (Olivia Rodrigo, Dermot Kennedy) helped bring the high-energy, freewheeling stage show to the recording studio, with the result being an album that shows the full scope of the band’s abilities as writers and performers. The live show has always been at the core of who Ripe is, and now the recorded music can stand alongside it as an all-encompassing representation of who the band is and where they are going.

Melt
Melt is a New York City based band who formed in 2017. With a sound that continuously pulls from new realms, at Melt’s core is a shared love of soul and psychedelia, existential pop songs and ethereal jam sections, and a deep love for each other. Melt initially made a name for themselves with their first single “Sour Candy” that reached #5 on Billboard’s US Viral 50 Chart when they were 18 years old. They have since released their first EP “West Side Highway” in 2021: a bold project inspired by an eclectic mix of artists from Diana Ross to Wilco, The Grateful Dead to Maggie Rogers. As Melt continues to grow and reach new heights, they want you to help them create love, build community, and work towards an ever-evolving vision of the future.
Emelise
Emelise is a singer/songwriter from the Rocky Mountain Front Range, whose passion for making music brings an infectious new energy to a classic sound. Ever since she started performing at age six, she has often been described as having the voice of an old soul. While she enjoys playing covers by her influences periodically, Emelise primarily performs songs from her own catalog. In 2017 and 2022, Emelise placed first in The Stars of Tomorrow Competition at the world famous New York’s Apollo Theatre.
She has performed in premiere events in North America including TedX Uncommon in Denver, Move the Dial in Toronto, LA’s Winston House, and the Denver Women’s March. Emelise also enjoys street performing which has led to her booking shows across the country at coffee shops, farmer’s markets, microbreweries, festivals, as well as traditional music venues. No matter where she’s playing, her voice demonstrates one thing very clearly: she is an unstoppable powerhouse who can captivate any audience.
